What’s happening in U3A Armagh
The City Hotel was the venue for our annual dinner on Wednesday, 20th January.

Our December meeting was held on the 16th December and saw a large turn out of members who were treated to mince pies, shortbread and a mulled (non-alcoholic!) drink. This was followed by the choir who topped and tailed a quiz from our own quiz master Dessie McLaughlin. The quiz was won by 6 members of the male section of the choir, which was appropriate as the quiz was mainly comprised of music questions.

The choir performed in two venues in Armagh on Culture Night, first in the Marketplace Theatre…
…and then in the gaol…
We have reached an agreement with the Council over the use of a room in the old Armagh City Hospital. The room is the former reception and is located to the left of the front door. The room will be used for committee meetings, distribution of tickets and meetings of small groups. There is currently seating for ten people.
