The guest speaker at our next monthly meeting on Friday 17th April will be Richard Moore who founded the charity ‘Children in Crossfire’. When, as a ten year old, Richard Moore was on his way home from school, his life changed forever. As he passed an army outlook post a soldier fired a rubber bullet, blinding him for life. This is where his remarkable story of forgiveness and compassion begins.
We meet as usual in the O Fiaich Library and Archive, 10.30am for coffee & biscuits (£1 in the basket please).
The AGM will now be held on Friday 19th June at 10.30 in the O’Fiaich Library. The Agenda will be sent out nearer the time.
There are two vacancies on the committee. If you would like to be considered for election to the committee you need to be proposed and seconded by any existing members of Armagh U3a (an email will suffice).
SUBSCRIPTION 2026/2027 – The U3a subscription for the year 01/04/26 –31/03/27 is now due in the sum of £20 per member.This can be paid bycheque, online bank transfer or in cash.
Payment can be made in person at the conclusion of our meeting on Friday 17th April.
